Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products, solutions and services and focus massively on the development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Quality Specialist who can drive and support the organization in taking quality performance to the next level.

With direct reference to our Vice President Quality & Sustainability, you will be part of a strong professional department of 18 employees, who alongside Quality work within the field of sustainability, metrology and calibration. More specifically, you will be part of a small team of 7 specialists who all have a cross functional role where the overall objective of the team is to define and drive the implementation of Kamstrup’s Quality & Sustainability Strategy and related initiatives.

A job with focus on quality management
In the role of Senior Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for quality- and process improvements related to ISO 9001. You will act as our internal Senior Quality Specialist towards the business regarding quality management and process improvements. Together with our Management System Specialist and Quality & Process Specialists across the business, you will be responsible for aligning Kamstrup’s overall business process landscape.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

• Ensure overall compliance with ISO 9001 across Kamstrup
• Ensure synergies are utilized between ISO 9001 and other certifications such as ISO 17025, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, MID-D and our landscape of product approvals
• Develop relevant internal quality champions and training programs
• Ensure that improvements are implemented across Kamstrup, which focus on improving customer experience as well as internal quality performance
• Support with input for management reviews for Kamstrup, including our subsidiaries
• Support with continual review and improvement of existing internal and external audits

Personality matters
You have a relevant degree at minimum Bachelor level. In addition, you have a high level of business understanding combined with solid functional skills from a previous Quality Specialist or Manager position. It is a requirement that you have 3-5 years of experience within Quality Management including ISO 9001. It will furthermore be an asset if you have experience with process mapping, facilitation, and implementation, as well as the following areas:

• Audit experience as lead auditor within ISO 9001 or similar
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and apply statistics to problem solving
• Knowledge of lean value stream mapping and other lean tools

We are looking for a person with great personal drive and the ability to professionally represent Kamstrup. You are continuously looking to improve, which means that you see possibilities rather restrictions. You have an effective and structured approach to your work tasks, ensuring that you execute on them accordingly. You have excellent communication skills, enabling you to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and work in a global team environment.

You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
