As Data Product Owner (OCL Global) for Capacity and Flow you will drive business results through data analytics.

Our current data insights within OCL Global need constant growth and our new Data Product Owner will become instrumental in exploring, developing, analysing and implementing stronger data-structures which will drive business results for Maersk and our customers.

Key Responsibilities

The key elements to the role are:

• Data Product owner for Capacity and Flow in OCL Global.

• Maintain and develop new use-cases for our current +500 user base of capacity data. Example of use-case; how to ensure full utilisation of vessels during non-peak season ?

• Engage with Platform and GDA teams to ensure development of capacity data.

• Explore and develop new data-structure for Flow.

• Together with Flow Management develop use-cases for Flow analysis and implement these. Example could be; how to ensure enough 40’ units in Asia for our customers in peak season ?

• Engage and support project initiatives within OCL Global. These can be within reliability, cargo, terminal performance, stowage a.o.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in operation, finance, or tech/data related roles.

You can translate data insights into business opportunity.

You are able articulate business opportunity into business actions and deliverables.

You:
• Have excellent conceptualization and analytical skills.

• Experienced PowerBI user, with capabilities towards the app.powerbi landscape.

• Analytically oriented, who can communicate with the tech organisation (GDA) and the business.

• Has a strong understanding of the data landscape, who can work with and manipulate data-cubes.

• Furthermore, has a strong understanding for how data connects across the platforms.

• Self-starter who has a curiosity for how data can drive process changes and can drive growth through the service design platforms and workstreams.

• MDX, SQL, Python, or R is helpful, but not required.

• Possess the ability to explain complex concepts/plans in a simple and concise way is essential.
