Become a part of our Product Portfolio Management team
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a new Product Manager to join our Product Management team in our Heat/Cooling division.

With a direct reference to our Head of Portfolio Management, you as our new Product Manager for Services, will become a part of our Product Portfolio team consisting of five dedicated colleagues. Together we are dedicated and strive to develop and maintain Kamstrup’s future Heat/Cooling product portfolio globally. We work curiously with our customers and we collect and identify customer needs within our key markets by close collaboration with our customers and researching the surrounding environment. The knowledge is transformed into key selling propositions which are implemented in the product and solution development, and you get the opportunity to be a main driver in the entire process. Furthermore, you will join a positive, open and dedicated department where you are able to make your mark and contribute to the success of the team.

An exciting job with focus on developing our service business
In the position as Product Manager for Services, you will have the ownership of our service offerings, which includes the full accountability for the profitability of the offerings. As the product owner it will be your responsibility to create and execute on the service roadmap based on customer needs and value propositions. You represent the voice of the customer in new product development projects where you are responsible for the launch activities in relevant markets. Your job involve close collaboration with sales, operation hosting, marketing, product management in other business areas and of course your colleagues in the Heat/Cooling Division.

More specific you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying new customer needs and establish new value propositions
  • Defining product strategy and roadmap based on market requirements and our business goals
  • Ensuring a clear pricing strategy for your portfolio in close cooperation with our pricing manager
  • Securing optimum product launches in close cooperation with marketing and sales
  • Reporting profitability performance of your product program in the market(s)

In the job, you can expect up to 20 travel days per year.

Personality matters
You have a commercial background with 3-5 years of experience within either product management, commercial business development or sales combined with a great interest for innovation. Moreover, you have documented experience in managing and developing services, preferable digital services, as well as converting customer in-sights into value propositions, as this will be a key element of the job. Finally, a basic understanding of the energy industry will be considered an advantage.

As a person you are analytical and driven by your desire to create change. You challenge status quo in order to inspire us to become even more scalable and profitable. You are self-driven and possess a proactive mind-set, which gives you the ability to reach the given goals within the deadline. You master the art of creating strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, and you thrive with a wide range of contacts. You are good at getting acquainted with new things, are quick to familiarize yourself with new technologies and use these in a commercial and customer-facing context. You pride yourself with your ability to create value for our customers though a deep customer understanding which is created by relations and dialogue.

It is a requirement that you master English in writing and speaking. Danish and German will be an advantage.
