We are looking for a Product Owner ready to share and grow

Based in Warsaw in a cross-border team you will report to Product Manager in our Capital Markets Risk development department. We are responsible for developing and supporting the Capital Markets solutions that BEC clients use.

The team works with the newest Calypso platform and is continuously working with developing solutions for our clients. If you want to work with a global best in class Capital Markets platform this is the job for you.

Primary task and responsibilities

In the position as Product Owner, you will be responsible for setting the direction for the Calypso platform. The team is highly technical and specialized. So, you need to have a strong technical base and the ability to challenge specialists to achieve the best results. In close collaboration with the Development Manager, you will work with securing stable operations of the platform.

You will also work closely with our Calypso business development teams, clients (banks) and 3rd party vendor (Adenza). Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for the team roadmap – with focus on:
  
  

• enabling a continued patching of the platform
  
  
• secure an automated test setup
  
  
• scaling of platform to cater for business needs and changes
  
  
• refinement of features with the team and clients
  
  

• Secure DevOps practice in the team
  
  
• Cooperation and communication on all levels, both with team and domain management and with customers and suppliers
  
  
• Clarifying customers’ needs and secure that expectations are aligned between BEC and the customers on an ongoing basis
  
  
• Understand the customers’ business and need for IT solutions that support the business
  
  
• Responsibility for the team’s backlog and secure the right prioritization
  
  

• Sprint backlog refinement together with the team and scrum master
  
  
• Drive technical change for the infrastructure

Preferably, you have an educational background at bachelor’s or Master’s level within IT or mathematics and 2-10 years of experience from a similar position working with a 3rd party Capital Markets platform. But most importantly you are eager to learn and drive the development of the platform with our teams and clients.
