The Opportunity

The Network Execution team - responsible for products which enable Maersk to deliver on customer promises - is looking for a smart and passionate Product Manager who will enjoy working in a multi-cultural and highly cross-functional environment.

To be successful in your role, you are expected to work collaboratively with engineering, functional process owners, business product owners, operators (our users), and other product teams within the company.

You will be responsible for building capabilities supporting berth planning - primarily for APM Terminals to optimise their berth planning, terminal productivity and cost, but also for Maersk operators to handle port call planning more effectively in collaboration with the berth planners at the hubs.

Responsibilities

• Define the roadmap through collaboration with business product owners, functional process owners, and engineering counterparts.
  
  
• Work with the functional process owner and UX to collect and derive user insights through qualitative and quantitative methods.
  
  
• Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories.
  
  
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs between user experience, business requirements, technical limitations, and performance.
  
  

What you bring

• Good business acumen and an ability to think both strategically and tactically
  
  
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM software development
  
  
• Experience making product decisions by using quantitive and qualitative data, not gut feel or listening to the loudest voice!
  
  
• Experience working with optimisation
  
  

• Ability to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-delivery.
  
  
• Great stakeholder management and communication skills to be able to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders when needed.
  
  
• Resilience - ability to work in a fast-moving environment or under ambiguity.
  
  
• It would be a great bonus (not a must) if you have experience in working with terminal or liner operations.
