Software Product Owner for Workshop Solutions

Hella Gutmann Solutions A/S are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Product Owner to set the direction for the work of their development team ensuring that their products meet business demands and are continually developed and maintained.

The position
As a product owner you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the features of Hella Gutmann Solutions products. You will act as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring that the product meets the needs of the users and the business. You will organize and facilitate the team’s activities and maintain an ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders from IT and the category management, making sure that feedback and solutions definitions are anchored in the team.

Some of your key tasks include:

• Assume product ownership in the Automotive Industry, for one of the market leaders in the aftermarket.
• Lead, shape and grow Hella-Gutmann’s workshop solutions products. These are our web-based applications, such as macsDIA, that provide key information to workshops for the repair of a car.
• Analyze and evaluate customer goals, market trends and stakeholder requirements, and align long-term strategy in collaboration with colleagues in Category Management and Sales.
• Ideate and evaluate concepts for future features and services with your peers in Data Development, Application Development and Design.
• Drive the product development process within an Agile development framework, manage risks, and provide transparency regarding progress, problems, and plans.
• Monitor the success of new features and services; derive and apply lessons learned to continually improve our products and the development process.

You will become part of a well-established and highly skilled team who works great together and priorities good communication. The development team is placed in Viborg however Hella Gutmann Solutions A/S are an international organization, so you can expect a small amount of traveling. The department and the company in general are well-known for a flat management structure and a flexible healthy work/life-balance.

About you
With your experience in project management, your knowledge of agile working methods and facilitation skills, you can bring your team to the next level, making sure that your colleagues are motivated and inspired for achieving goals and meeting the business demands. You are also a team player and collaborator, allowing you to work well with all stakeholders.

Moreover, you have:

• Background in Business Administration, Computer Science, UX Design or some sort of related profession.
• Previous experience working as a product manager/product owner within a tech organization or during the digital transformation of a traditional company.
• Proven track record of shipping successful digital products to the market in close collaboration with software development, design, marketing functions.
• Rich toolbox of techniques and frameworks for problem solving, planning, execution.
• Excellent communication skills, both in verbal and written form. Fully proficient in English; Danish and/or German language skills are a big plus.
• Experience working with a data centric product is a plus.
