Do you want to put your fingerprint on the world’s most widespread building material? Are you experienced in Quality Engineering? Are you passionate about quality, technology, and processes? And do you want to secure the quality of an environmentally friendly cement production? Then you might be the Quality Engineer we are looking for at Aalborg Portland.
Your main responsibility in the position
You will be part of a professional and ambitious team of Quality-colleagues located in Aalborg. As Quality Engineer your most important task will be to secure that our products comply with the requirements from both product standards and customer demands. You will be responsible for providing the needed reports in relation to product certification and contractual obligations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for translating these requirements into tangible targets for your colleagues in Production. For that reason, it is necessary that you are capable of seeing the big picture and maintain the full overview at all times.

Your main responsibility in the position

For that reason, it is necessary that you are capable of seeing the big picture and maintain the full overview at all times.
As our Quality Engineer your primary tasks include:
- Continuous monitoring of key quality parameters and implementation of corrective actions in case of non-compliance.
- Responsibility for the daily quality meetings and daily quality surveillance
- Investigation of process related causality
- Alignment of production parameters and quality targets
- Participation in external quality audits and continuous dialogue with certifying bodies
Your profile
- You hold a degree in Engineering or similar, preferably within chemistry or geology (MSc. or similar)
- You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- We prefer that you possess knowledge of cement raw materials, cement production process, clinker chemistry and cement performance
- You have excellent competences within statistical evaluation of large data sets
- General IT skills is a plus
