Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-in mentality quality engineer with at least 2 years' experience in Quality.
Based in Aalborg, your main missions, in the quality department, will be to assist in developing the quality department, including implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS), as well as conduct the Final Quality Inspections on our machines.
Responsibilities:
You will also be assigned other tasks based on project needs that arise.

Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-in mentality quality engineer with at least 2 years' experience in Quality.
Based in Aalborg, your main missions, in the quality department, will be to assist in developing the quality department, including implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS), as well as conduct the Final Quality Inspections on our machines.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Participating to internal training for QMS implementation.
- Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed, including participation in internal and external audits.
- Be an active member of the audit team by supporting and preparing for internal and external audits, including creation of audit reports.
- Conducting technical troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis on reported quality issues or customer claims (Non-Conformities investigation and Corrective Actions follow up).
- Performing technical final Quality Inspection for LYRAS product. This responsibility includes writing test procedures, conducting the test, writing test reports and specific document for customers, as well as troubleshooting errors.
- Making recommendations for improvement.
- Participating in risk analysis and reduction.
- Insuring employee’s safety policies and training.
You will also be assigned other tasks based on project needs that arise.
Requirements:
- Academic degree within quality, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical background.
- Certificate in quality assurance is a plus.
- At least 2 years’ experience where you have gained a solid and up-to-date knowledge of quality assurance and ISO9001 requirements.
- Experience within food industry is a plus.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance: Working within a Quality Management System, experience with Standard Work Instructions, Standard Operational Procedures, 8D reports, Root cause analysis and Corrective Actions.
- Knowledge in implementing and maintaining safety environment in production and laboratory.
- Understanding of technical drawing
- Good IT office skills (word, power point, excel) + familiar with Microsoft 365 and QMS software programs.
Soft Skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Speaking, writing, and understanding English and Danish at a high level.
- Ability to work independently and shape processes, while also being able to collaborate with different people across the organization.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills with attention to details.
- Problem-solving skills and comfortable with decision making.
