We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Category Manager to lead the Global IT Consultants subcategory and the connected Strategic Procurement activities.
As IT Category Manager you will be responsible for the IT Consultants supporting the realization of the strategic goals set for the IT organization, while also participating in achieving ambitious overall targets for Global Procurement.
The position will be placed at our Head Quarters in Ballerup where most of the Global IT stakeholders are also placed.
The job
As Category Manager within the IT category, your main areas of responsibility will be to:
Manage and implement the IT consultant’s strategy across LEO Pharma Contribute to other subcategories of IT such as IT Infrastructure, Operations, Software and Hardware Have responsibility for large and/or strategic Procurement projects and tenders in close cooperation with Senior Stakeholders to ensure best possible partnering with suppliers, TCO and contractual outcome for LEO Pharma Manage RfI and RfP processes for strategic initiatives in Global IT Share and use your knowledge of the IT consultancy supplier market, drivers, and business models, collaborate effectively across different organizational levels and functions to realize Procurement goals and objectives Work with your stakeholders to establish a strong Supplier Relationship Management setup including implementing governance for key IT suppliers Optimize our supplier portfolio by constantly monitoring performance and balance between cost and value Develop, champion and ensure implementation of optimization ideas within the Procurement organization year-over-year Lead negotiations and finalize Framework Services agreements and Work Orders connected to the related activities mentioned above
Your qualifications
You will be a trusted Procurement Advisor for senior stakeholders in LEO Pharma Global IT, and you will liaise with a broad field of suppliers; hence experience and clear understanding of the IT consultancy market, trends, commercial drivers, and market dynamics is a must.
To be successful in the role you must have;
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within strategic IT Procurement as an IT Category Manager from an international company. Pharma industry experience is preferred but not a pre-requisite Experience in leading RfI/RfP processes in a complex world of stakeholders Experience with defining & implementing SRM governance models Experience with multilevel stakeholder management Fluency in English and preferably Danish

You are a team player, and you have great communication and stakeholder management skills coupled with solid change management capabilities and strong negotiation skills. You will be part of a strong, ambitious and dynamic team consisting of 6 CMs/SCMs reporting to the Head of PS, IT and Marketing Procurement. The team is part of the Global Indirect Procurement Department in LEO Pharma which is responsible for the Strategic direction and projects for LEO Pharma globally.
