We are under pressure to continuously deliver higher quality and increased productivity, however with a similar amount of people. How is that possible? Well, part of the solution is to automate some of our manual processes, to enable our employees to deliver more value. The R&D VIA Unit has a range of low-code technologies available to deliver exactly that. The demand for our services is continuously increasing and we need an experienced Product Owner to manage our pipeline.
You will be working in a highly skilled team built from subject matter experts and technical experts. The team is responsible for building and delivering automation across R&D. As part of the unit you and the team around you are responsible for building smart and sustainable solutions in close collaboration with the end-users. Interaction with other departments is very strong, using both shared projects and actual job rotations to foster cooperation and people development.
You will become part of a team with a pleasant and flexible work environment, a team that has full speed ahead whilst staying open-minded and social.
The RPA team in R&D is the largest RPA team in LEO Pharma when you measure it on delivered time back to business. And we have just started our journey. A key responsibility will be to drive the strategic development of the team to ensure that we can deliver solutions for the future, e.g. Robotic Cognitive automation, citizen automation, process mining, etc.

- Process discovery and pipeline generation and refinement
- Strategic development of RPA, Business automation, and the team’s capabilities and offerings
- Driving adoption of RPA in business
- Stakeholder collaboration

Your responsibilities will include:
- Product owner of the RPA Product backlog for R&D
- Identify, refine. and prioritize automation use cases in the entire R&D organization
- Discover workshops
- Process mapping workshops
- Create business cases and ensure that the process is ready for automation in close collaboration with business areas and the team
- Develop how we measure benefits and reporting to our stakeholders
- Key contact and link between business and the development team
- Responsible for the Program Increment plan
- Develop sprint goals
- Strategic development of RPA in R&D
- Remove impediments for the team with a special focus on business faced impediments
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields
- Experience in working in an agile team, ideally as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Experience working with IT development in Pharma or other regulated industries
- Excellent, proactive problem solver, strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define Features and User stories to be developed by the team
- Experience working in a multicultural team
- Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English
- Strong collaborator: Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as part of the RPA delivery cycle.
