We are looking for an independent and ambitious Senior Global Product Manager to join the Nilfisk Global Floor-Care Team within the Solutions Portfolio (Global Marketing) and focusing above all on supporting the Global Strategic Accounts & Strategic portfolio Initiatives within the Floor-Care Team.

As Senior Global Product Manager Floor-Care, you will be an integral part of Nilfisk’s strategic journey from a product-oriented manufacturing company to a customer-driven global organization, where investments in new technologies and the intelligent use of data will enable us to better meet our customers’ demands. You have 10+ years’ experience in product management, business development/commercial roles in an international company and/or top tier management consulting, where you have proven your strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
You have a balanced technical and commercial, strategic and hands-on profile and a natural interest in finding customer solutions, both at HW, SW and services level.

This position is located in the Nilfisk HQ in Broendby (Greater Copenhagen) or Nilfisk Hungary, in our new office in Budapest (Infopark) and will report to the Global Vice-President Floor-Care, Solution Portfolio (Product Management) based in Italy and peers located in EMEA and the USA.

Key Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support Global Strategic Accounts and Large National Accounts growth initiatives understanding the customer needs and finding the right and enhanced solutions offering (both product and technology). In order to do this;
- Based on customer problems and understanding, you will develop / propose innovative solutions to improve value proposition, reduce cost, improve quality
- You will take leadership in the business case preparation, project execution and Business Case follow-up of any Floor-Care product and digital solutions customizations for our Global Strategic and National Accounts Business and in accordance to the overall Global Floor-Care portfolio strategy
- Based on customer problems and understanding, you will develop / propose innovative solutions to improve value proposition, reduce cost, improve quality
- Provide expertise on Floor-Care products and solutions offering to Large Global and National Accounts customers, their positioning, their value propositions to build confidence and differentiation around Nilfisk products
- Be the contact point and go to person for strategic portfolio initiatives, such as – but not exclusive to – supporting the implementation of digital offerings within the Floor-Care portfolio, scouting of new technologies which would create an enhanced customer value to our Floor-Care product offerings, engage with relevant functions – e.g. Marketing, Technology, IT - to sharpen product value propositions and push new key solutions
- Help maintaining and further developing knowledge and expertise across the organization of new product platforms via new and improved tools to be developed, such as application and user profiling, solution benefits, TCO calculations etc.
- Perform robust competitive and market analysis both internal and external to the industry; benchmark best in class solutions to build a leadership position

Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
You have 10+ years’ experience in product management, business development/commercial roles in an international company and/or top tier management consulting, where you have proven your strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
You have a balanced technical and commercial, strategic and hands-on profile and a natural interest in finding customer solutions, both at HW, SW and services level.
Further the right candidate have:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics, MBA preferred
- Full proficiency in spoken and written English, and other languages preferred other than mother tongue
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Great organizational and communication skills, professional experience and comfort in working in multinational matrix organizations
- An analytical and structured approach to problem solving and a highly independent working style
- Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus and a positive attitude also in times of heavy workload
- Excellent judgement and analytical ability to make recommendations/decisions and to resolve complex problems.
- Ability to balance working hands-on to execute and deliver on your own projects, as well as being able to think long-term to establish the future strategies and plans for growth
- Capability and willingness to travel as needed (about 30% to 40% of time)
