Zenegy has an ambitious growth strategy and to support the ongoing development they seek a talented and passionate colleague to join the team located in Hørsholm, north of Copenhagen.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to write and execute manual and automation tests cases to ensure product quality. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be designing and implementing test cases and scenarios, creating test plans and making corrective actions in close cooperation with the development team in Macedonia and your manager in Hørsholm. You play an important role in the product development process and will be the link between business development and the developers. You will be involved in testing the product at different stages and before launches to ensure that the products are free from errors, regressions, and it’s reliable.

Quality Assurance Specialist, with a few years of experience and a great potential
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to write and execute manual and automation tests cases to ensure product quality. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be designing and implementing test cases and scenarios, creating test plans and making corrective actions in close cooperation with the development team in Macedonia and your manager in Hørsholm. You play an important role in the product development process and will be the link between business development and the developers. You will be involved in testing the product at different stages and before launches to ensure that the products are free from errors, regressions, and it’s reliable.
Responsibilities
- Design detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document and track bugs using respective tools (i.e. Azure DevOps)
- Identify and communicate any gaps in requirements and test cases
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements, and if possible, come up with ideas for solutions
- Monitor debugging process results (Root Cause Analysis)
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects
Requirements
- Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Attentive to details in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and scripting
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum development process
- Strong communication skills
- You are a quick learner and enjoys working in a very agile environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (VSTS) is a plus
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
