The Business Platforms organization is at the forefront of developing cutting edge technologies to improve the customer’s experience with personalized and automated end-to-end digital journeys, that enable Maersk customers to access standardized products and services seamlessly. The Platforms help enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains.

The Air & LCL (Less Than Container Load) platform organization is looking for a Senior Platform Product Owner to closely work with our customers and internal stakeholders to design and shape the product in your area and subsequently drive the development from a Product Owner capacity with the scrum team(s).Maersk is transforming into an industrial digital giant that enables global trade with its land, air, sea, and port assets. We are an operations focused technology enablement team, which partners with both commercial and operational teams to ensure we deploy the right technologies in the right geographies. This position also offers the opportunity to take innovative ideas and turn them into our future.

Through Digital Transformation we identify, define and implement the mix of process, technology and culture that brings business, development and operation teams closer, allowing Maersk to deliver products faster, improve responsiveness and enhance quality for our consumers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the problem space by connecting with end-users and stakeholders
  • Define Product vision and ensure roadmap and future idea leads to realizing the vision
  • Define and drive development in the product area from the capacity of product owner in a scrum team
  • Support scrum team to improve: define, develop, deploy cycle, Validate cycle
  • Own and manage Product backlog which provide clarity and foresight for development team
  • Demonstrate a combination of a technical engineering knowledge and an effective business acumen;
  • Ability to simplifying complex problem to solve in iteration
  • Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to bring end user delight
  • Interpersonal skills, and capability to deal diplomatically in conflicting interest situations;
  • Stimulates creative ideas and perspectives that add value to product and platform
  • Ability to demonstrate strong Maersk leadership skills, by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions

• Ability to build and enhance complex products
• Ability to take ownership of complex and important products, and make effective decisions
• Highly skilled strategic planning, issues management and implementation.
• Skilled in seeing the journey from End-to-End perspective.
• High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
