Job Title: Platform Product Owner for Operational finance
Location: India/Copenhagen, DK/The Hague, NL/UK
Opportunity
Maersk is looking for regional Platform Product Owners who will work closely with internal business, operations and engineering colleagues as well as our customers to manage the demand and prioritize customer implementations. As well as managing the pipeline the PPO will need to ensure the solutions delivered work towards achieving the right business outcome. This product area will be working with invoicing and finance part of supply chain logistics
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies, business models and capabilities into high quality, simple products that customers love.

Key Responsibilities
As a Platform Product Owner you will leading work to ensure our Invoicing and cost controlling modules meet users and business stakeholders needs and produce accurate invoicing to our customer. You will be working closely with engineering teams continuously prioritizing backlog and ensure that features meet expectations . You will be responsible for monitoring pipelines of requests from different products to ensure swift support with technical design, solutioning, costs, time providing clarity on time to market for this requirements. You will be working with our core finance and accounting team to ensure correct processing of your product invoicing in the Finance ERP /SAP. This role is inherently cross-functional and you will work closely with engineering, business development, operations and other product teams.
- Work closely with the senior Finance sales teams, and stay close to the pipeline development,
- Work directly with customers, sales and operations colleagues and manage customer implementation requirements and ensure consistent review of prioritizations which are in line with commercial expectations and finance and accounting principle.
- Continuously align with platform PPO’s and Customer Engineering leads to match with available capacity.
- Liaise with Maersk business product stakeholders and engineering teams to define delivery solutions that are in line with business priorities and roadmaps.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business requirements, technical limitations, performance and operations.
- Provide insights and learnings to 2-in-the-box owners with regard to opportunity profile trends and customer demand, that could have an impact on the road map.
- Supervise and co-ordinate customer onboarding process, to ensure implementations are completed on-time.
- Escalate when opportunities are not OMEB compliant or when implementation are delayed providing root-cause analysis.
- Engage with other PPO community to make sure we align solutions cross platforms and feasibilities and delivery timelines for those integration solutions.
- Work with assigned engineer and regional tech implementation team, to understand capacity and pipeline, to better prepare possible scenarios with customers, regarding delivery dates and acceptance criteria.
Who we are looking for
- Good understanding of Logistics and Services, particularly WMS products and processes.
- Previous experience with finance products or finance system implementation (SAP experience is desirable)
- Demonstrate a combination of technical engineering knowledge and an effective business acumen.
- Customer centricity and ability to understand complex problems / customer scopes and link it to draft solutions and set of requirements.
- Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to resolve issues.
- Interpersonal skills and capability to deal diplomatically in conflicting interest situations.
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions.
- Ability to understand the complexity of a global conglomerate and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business.
- Experience of Agile scrum methodology, PSPO is desirable.
- Have a strong focus on standardization and delivery.
- Well organized and independent to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Able and willing to travel based on business requirements, 2-3 weeks per year.
- Fluent English in both written and oral.
