Service Digital Transformation SalesForce Business Development

Vestas' Global Service business is continuously growing and has strategic importance. With our corporate strategy "Global leader in Sustainable Energy Solutions" we have set ambitious growth targets for the Service business in the coming years. Achieving such targets require a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally - and digitalization is at the core of that transformation.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Salesforce Business Development, you will join a new team responsible for evolving and maturing the digital offerings to Vestas service 10.000+ employees who are part of enabling profitable growth and customer value. You will be committed to continuously mature and expand Vestas Commercial capabilities, focusing on the contract sales business area.

Responsibilities
The Product Owner for Contract Sales is responsible for ensuring that the business agenda is supported by the right digital solutions. That business needs are translated into well designed, coherent and user-friendly digital products that can drive adoption, insights and employee and customer value. That digital capabilities are factored into the commercial strategies and value creation. More specifically your tasks will cover:

  • Drive Contract Sales digital capabilities to the next maturity levels in strong collaboration with colleagues in the commercial organization and the Sales regions
  • Specify selected features, define requirements, scope and liaise with business stakeholders and manage the backlog towards development teams in Global IT
  • Design with a full Operating Model perspective in mind and ensure implications on data, people, performance etc., are considered and updated in the Operating Model
  • Keep focus on the quality and continuous optimization to ensure best-in-class User Experience and enablement for our service staff
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the right solution for Vestas end-to-end, this includes colleagues in Power Plant Sales, Vestas Power Solutions, Marketing, Supply chain and Global IT

Qualifications
The right candidate has worked in a similar role, and/or as a commercial management consultant, with a strong focus on digital business development

  • Experience with digitalization of sales processes and the ability to drive standardization and gain buy-in to one new way of working in a global environment
  • Experience in working as Product Owner and the deconstruction of business requirements to user stories and daily engagement with a development team in an agile setup
  • Ability to navigate in large projects with multiple global stakeholder groups
  • Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have:
    • Salesforce.com experience and/or certifications within the domain area
    • Worked with Service Sales in an engineering / manufacturing industry
    • Experience with- and understanding of working with process mgmt

  • Strong passion for monitoring the latest digital trends and how to apply the relevant ones to the business in an impactful way
  • Capable of mixing focus between strategy, tactical tasks, hands-on detailed specifications and execution.
  • Motivated by driving business outcomes and getting the work done
  • Self-driven and influential
