We are now looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Payments team in Transaction Banking Product Management on the exciting journey in establishing the future Nordic payment offering enabled by payment industry changes.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Transaction Banking Product Management team which is a unit within Transaction Banking. We add value by ensuring our product portfolio is profitable and relevant for our customers in all segments, in close collaboration with our stakeholders. As Senior Product Manager you play a valuable role in defining and maintaining our product roadmaps based on our customers’ expectations and understanding of market and payment industry movements. The European and Nordic payment landscape is changing by creating new rails for bill payment solutions, and you will play a vital role in defining this product offering for Nordea.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and be accountable for the Product Roadmap for Collection Services and future Bill Pay Solutions
- Create strategic roadmap and set business requirements for future offerings
- Create and own business case and accountable for business benefit realisation
- Support, co-ordinate and drive tasks and initiatives that improve and harmonise the customer product offering within Collection Services area
- Support projects and workstreams to ensure they deliver on your business requirements and defined outcomes
- Ensure product offerings are profitable through managing the P&L, adhering to KPIs and maintaining performance metrics
- Working with internal and external stakeholders and industry bodies to define the product roadmap including new features and improvements
- Influence the direction of the product offering and supporting the future strategic direction for Payments in Nordea.
You will join a Nordic team of professionals passionate about payments. We are responsible for Domestic and SEPA scheme payments, Collection Services and Cross Border payments. The role is based in Copenhagen.

Your experience and background:
- The role can be tailored to the candidate’s experience, but around 4-9 years of relevant experience is expected from, e.g., banking/payment industry, finance, top-tier management consultancies, large companies, or payment technology start-ups
- High level of industry and product expertise in payment industry
- Strong knowledge about payment products and market trends enabling efficient collection processes for customers
- Experience in Product development and strategy
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Danish
- Relevant university degree that shows keen interest the financial sector
