As a Product Manager, you will proactively develop and drive profitable growth plans across selected product segments (ceramics, flushing systems, shower toilets) to deliver revenue and margin objectives. You will champion and manage end-to-end product life cycle of all new and existing products into the Nordic & Baltic markets (with a focus on our break-out markets; Sweden & Finland) with fully integrated plans across channels. It will be your responsibility to ensure the regional connection between HQ on market on overall product management.
MORE DETAILED WILL YOUR TASKS INCLUDE:
- Develop and implement category marketing strategy for the responsible business categories incorporating market insights and customer lens perspective.
- Lead and drive the entire category portfolio from strategic planning to tactical activities to deliver growth plans in line with targets interacting with HQ, sales team, and customers.
- Work with headquarters to ensure local market requirements & legislations are fully captured for all new range changes or launches including all approvals.
- Develop forecasts for all business cases including Nordic specific products detailing forecasted volumes by channel-customer, pricing, risk performance and feasibility with senior management and cross-functional buy-in.
- Manage all projects, gate process commitments, time management, contingency planning, approvals and procedures, campaign analysis and tracking/monitoring with corrective actions.
- All key new product launches to include full launch planning with business case forecasts, distribution and activation plan to ensure stronger launch execution and faster roll-out.
- Take ownership of delivering a complete product launch package for all new products and aligning across the Marketing team to ensure all elements are fully in place prior to go live.
- Develop and deliver both internal and external new product communication presentations and sales enablement tools, whilst re-enforcing existing product opportunities to complete solution selling for the brand.
- Activate the core product positioning and messaging that differentiates the benefits of their products in the market against benchmark key competitors.
- Set all product pricing in corporation with BI and implement to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Measuring and focusing on post-launch against category/channel/customer addressing deviations and incremental sales opportunities, whilst embracing full team support.
- Build and establish effective working relationships with HQ category/approval teams to be the local 'go to person', and with sales and relevant stakeholders to drive sales growth.
- Responsible for tracking & analyzing performance of all products launched into the markets, including power brand and distribution analysis for optimizing category growth.
- Identifying poor performing SKU's and providing solutions to drive sales revenue across family designs ahead of pruning process.
- Connect and act as Project Manager to ensure all stakeholders have the information at the right time in regard to new product launch, existing challenges and opportunities, growth plans (Pricing, Master data, Service, Sales, Marketing, HQ, Trainer, Supply Chain, Channels).
- Act as the expert of responsible categories and areas of responsibilities and ensure that Group values are upheld to both external and internal contacts fully aligned to compliance training.

In addition, the job requires an organized and structured work methodology, as well as an analytical mind-set. Being flexible whilst maintaining a team player-spirit and good communication skills is necessary in order to succeed in the role and achieve the ambitious targets that have been set for the Category team.
