About the job:

Would you like to become Product Manager for a world-class online trading and investment platform?

We are now looking for a Product Manager to expand our new team Trade and Portfolio, a small highly skilled, motivated and multi-national team based in our HQ office in Copenhagen. The team currently consists of two senior and one junior product manager.

The team handles the product management of the client experiences in trading, reporting, portfolio management and asset services. We define the product roadmap within these areas for our proprietary trading platforms – SaxoInvestor, SaxoTraderGO and SaxoTraderPRO - servicing clients globally across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

In this role, you will get your own domain of responsibilities, and will quickly grow into becoming the expert within the domain areas. In this capacity you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new features and on-going enhancements, starting with market data and feedback analysis, prototyping with the design teams, then managing the implementation with IT developers and finally driving client adoption with sales and marketing teams.

Responsibilities will be based on experience within these areas

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill products gaps and generate new ideas
  • Plan and prioritize the product backlog then translate the product strategy into detailed requirements
  • Work closely with UX and IT to implement new features and enhancement
  • Work with Clients Insights to gather user feedback, to ensure that the product we deploy are of quality and, to improve client experience and service
  • Competitor and industry analysis with a focus on identifying gaps and potential unique selling points

What we would value in the ideal candidate:

Background and experience:

  • You have 2-5 years of experience within the financial sector, potentially from a position in product management, trading, client reporting or account management, and knowledge of products such as stocks, bonds, forex, options, ETFs and mutual funds
  • You understand the tools needed in the lifecycle of owning financial instruments online, i.e. trade tickets, financial- and trading reports, self-service funding and transfers tools

Personal:

  • You have an aspiration to develop as a Product Manager within in the financial industry
  • You are results-oriented, always striving for maximal consumer value as early as possible
  • You can relate to the needs of investors and the possible choices and journeys they are facing
  • You are an energetic and motivated person who is comfortable working both as part of a team and independently
  • You are a natural presenter who is comfortable in communicating with stakeholders on all levels of an organization
  • You are comfortable working in English, and enjoy an international and fast-paced agile environment
  • You possess problem solving skills and easily find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments
  • You are a structured thinker and have the ability to handle complexity
