What can you expect in your new role

As our Pricing Manager, you'll lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies across the company, optimizing our products’ competitive positioning and profitability. Reporting to the CFO and the Business Monitoring and Pricing Head, you will be responsible for pricing initiatives, support decision makers, and provide crucial pricing guidance to our sales teams. You'll ensure adherence to our pricing processes and use your analytical prowess to influence pricing decisions that align with our strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial pricing strategies that support business objectives and financial targets.
  • Train and guide deal makers in utilizing pricing tools and adhering to established processes.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to establish robust pricing models.
  • Collaborate with commercial directors to prepare for negotiations, ensuring pricing strategies are well defended.
  • Monitor & report on performance versus target prices; support sales team in attaining or surpassing KPIs
  • Monitor & report on total Xellia price dynamics, proposals on how to offset price erosion and price increase results
  • Lead pricing-related projects and initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What do we expect you bring

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in pricing strategy or revenue management, preferably in the life science industry or FMCG industry or from consultancy
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a proven ability to manage complex pricing models.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a knack for influencing stakeholders across all levels.
