Experienced site manager with a passion for web analytics, Copenhagen
We are looking for a web specialist with a proven website management track record and excellent communication skills. This is an opportunity for you to join an exciting digital transformation journey and a Nordic websites team of highly engaged, self-driven web specialists passionate about creating great user experiences in a fast-paced environment.

At Nordea, we see that the world is changing fast – and we want to be one step ahead of the curve. That’s why we’re deeply committed to providing the financial solutions of tomorrow to our customers. We’re creating an agile environment where we experiment and grow together – and we need your ideas and unique background. With us, you’ll be in good company with a chance to make your mark on something bigger.

About this opportunity

You will join the Websites team in Group Marketing Centre of Excellence. The Websites team is responsible for the overall site management and development of the corporate website, nordea.com. You will be working closely with decentral web editors and content owners across countries and units as well as your seven multi-disciplinary team colleagues.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with, coach, inspire and empower our decentral editors and content owners to deliver engaging and relevant expert content, by providing high quality trainings in the web CMS and advice on web best practices considering both technical possibilities and business goals and strategies
  • As an editor sparring partner you will be driving or co-planning content development and optimisation projects from a web content creation/execution point of view. And if IT development is needed, you will refine the IT development requirements and help in building the business cases
  • Ensure excellent editor support by quickly understanding technical challenges, and hands-on assist editors in either fixing their content or report defects to IT - including checking and answering requests in a team common mailbox
  • Work hands on with the more technical aspects of web publishing and website management yourself - although the messaging and content itself will be the content owners’ responsibility.
  • Develop functional documentation, best practice guidelines and online training material
  • Ensure a consistent user experience by providing UX expertise to both team and editors
  • Take our web analytics and user research to the next level, ensuring high quality, data driven sparring and advice for our editors

Who you are

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in being at our best – and that we imagine you share with us.

With strong technical skills, great digital communication skills and a quality-minded and engaged personality, you will naturally initiate and drive improvement and optimisation of the web experience from your always long list of activities. You must be service minded, analytical, well-organised and with proven ability to manage multiple types of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines, staying focused in stressful situations.

You are flexible and have a practical hands-on approach. Your work experience demonstrates ability to juggle multiple tasks and work independently or with others – contributing to a positive and collaborative team spirit with good humour and a positive ‘can do’ approach.

Your experience and background:

  • Experience working with a component based enterprise Web CMS
  • Superior tech flair and love for hands-on technical challenges are key requirements
  • Experience with web editor support, training, and creation of online training material
  • Great understanding of web standards and knowledge of how to apply them to real-world solutions with excellent problem-solving skills as well as project management skills
  • You demonstrate high UX and usability standards, plus a prior experience and understanding of information architecture and responsive web design with a mobile first approach
  • Experience with web analytics. A tag management system like Tealium and Adobe Analytics would be a plus
  • Some frontend code knowledge would be an advantage
  • Expertise in SEO, accessibility and web/content strategy would be an asset
  • Excellent digital communication and negotiation skills. And you must be able to effectively convey information and present and discuss solutions in English both verbally and in writing with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Fluency in Danish or another Nordic language is a requirement
  • Experience working in a large organisation with many stakeholders as well as some experience working agile would be an advantage

If this sounds like you, we look forward to welcoming you to a team of highly engaged, multi-talented and self-driven web nerds.
