Can you lead a team of skilled service engineers within electronic and mechanical work, motivate them to give their best? Do you have experience from operation, service and maintenance, where efficiency, performance and skilled workmanship are keywords? Then this position as team lead in Technical Services at Terma in Lystrup could be something for you.
Terma is a global leading developer of advanced and mission-critical systems and products, including radar systems for surveillance of airports, port/coastal areas, onboard ships, self-protection systems for helicopters, ships, transport and fighter aircraft, and command and control systems on ships. Within Aeronautics, Terma is a key supplier of self-protection and aircraft survivability equipment. Technical Services at Terma is responsible for all hands-on activities within these business areas.
Primary responsibilities
In this position, you will have the day-to-day management of competent engineers in Denmark. Your primary task will be to not only lead and develop the department but assist in the daily work to ensure a good and motivating working environment. You will be overall responsible for any incoming tasks and coordinate Technical Service operation in corporation with the Team lead of Field Services within Terma’s business areas.
You will be determining any incoming electronic and mechanical task, develop work schedules and delegating the specific tasks as well as setting individual goals for the MRO Engineers, all this in corporation with the employees and relevant stakeholders.
Overall, you will ensure any task or job is handle within deadlines and as smooth as possible with a good and motivating working environment you are creating and maintaining.

You have a relevant degree in engineering or related electronic/mechanical discipline and equivalent work experience.
Your background has given you some knowledge of quality, technology, repair and maintenance, and you have probably worked as a manager for a few years.

- Keeping up-to-date with supported products and developments
- Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes
- Use the electronic and mechanical knowledge in the department for assistance in development of new products, maintenance/repair in existing products and other OEM products, and provide the input in a structured and presentable way to key stakeholders
- Assist in Business Development and optimizing the MRO concept as part of Technical Services
- Being a part of Terma and customers quality requirements and ensure they are visual and implemented/followed
- Be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration
- Ultimately, lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals
