Do you want to be a critical strategic partner in redefining workplace services? Can you effectively support transformation and drive value-adding procurement initiatives? And are you experienced in category management with a proven track record in sourcing processes? Then, join us as our Global Category Manager for Workplace Services and be part of a team that designs the future.

Shape a future where people and societies grow and flourish
We are redefining workplace services to become a critical strategic partner for our business. To effectively support this transformation, and guide/implement strategies that enhance our workplace services with regard to facility management, we are looking for a Global Category Manager for Workplace Services, who has a strong grasp of the required processes gained through previous firsthand experience.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Take overall responsibility for the Workplace Services (Facility Management) Category, including the development and execution of category strategies.
  • Continuously optimize workplace services spending through value-adding procurement initiatives while maintaining competitive cost levels for the category.
  • Foster a strong partnership with Workplace Services and act as a procurement advisor to proactively identify sourcing opportunities and cost improvement potentials, supporting the sustainable growth of COWI.
  • Redefine and develop new sourcing metrics and service levels in close collaboration with the Workplace Services Team across all COWI geographies.
  • Establish solid governance and Supplier Relationship Management using KPIs and SLAs to enhance supplier performance in service quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, thereby increasing value delivered to COWI.
  • Integrate sustainability requirements and metrics into Workplace Services acquisition and daily operations.
  • Actively lead and contribute to the refinement and implementation of procurement strategies, processes, and tools.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
To succeed in this role, you need to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Develop ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will:

  • Hold a master's degree with 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement in international organizations
  • Have a strong commercial mindset with in-depth knowledge of procurement strategy, tools, techniques, and processes
  • Extensive experience in category management for workplace services and stakeholder management
  • Proven track record in sourcing processes and negotiation of global workplace services (facility management) contracts
  • Excellent negotiation, project management, interpersonal skills, and English language proficiency
  • Excellent English language skills, both oral and written
