We are looking for a product manager ready to share and grow
You will be based in Roskilde, and be part of the Pension & Mortgage domain, in BEC’s Customers & Business Transformation division, where you as product manager will be responsible for the product portfolio of the domain.
As a product manager you will work closely with the development director and be responsible for the full product portfolio of the domain and will together with the development director be responsible for coordinating with business owners in BEC, as well as BEC’s customers (the banks) to ensure the correct priorities of the product roadmaps.
You will be the part of the Steering Committee of the domain, where you will lead the product coordination and prioritization with BECs customers.
Besides from the product responsibility, you will also head the team of product owners in the domain and will be responsible for the HR management of them.
You will report directly to the development director.
Primary task and responsibilities
In the position as product manager, you will work closely with the development director, the management team, the product owners, and architects in the domain as well as business owners in BEC and with BEC customers.

You most likely have a background in the financial sector where you have worked with development of the business deliverables from the IT organization. Your educational background is most likely a master’s degree in business or computer science, and you have prior experience with software development and agile methodologies. You have relevant HR experience to be able to lead a team of 8 employees.

- Accountable for ensuring the Domain have a product vision for all 3 value streams (Mortgage, Credit & Pension) in close collaboration with BECs banks
- Accountable for ensuring the domain have a 5-quarter roadmap across the 3 value streams in close collaboration with product owners and BEC banks
- Conduct monthly Steering Committee meetings with BEC customers together with the development director and the business owner
- Be able to present and articulate the product vision for the Steering Committee and ensure a proper prioritized roadmap
- Ensure the product backlog contains the full view on all elements of the products, including architectural enablers and needed O&M activities
- Perform people leadership and drive a performance culture within the Product owner team
- Develop and drive a culture of cross functional collaboration and coordination
- Ensure transparency on decisions, progress, and results both within the team as well as outside the team
