We are looking for a product owner ready to share
As a product owner in BEC, you have the responsibility for ensuring that both stakeholders and the team are certain about the goal of the product. The product owner should be able to understand the different needs of our customers and turn this into value-adding solutions.

You will be associated with a team “Customer Portfolio”, which is placed in the Credit Risk Domain. The agile team is consisting of a development manager, a team architect, developers and business consultants. The team is working with an end-to-end solution for identification and processing of weak customers. And they calculate data on non-performing exposures for banks to be compliant with legislature

You will be placed in the Roskilde office and be reporting to the product manager of the domain. You will have a close cooperation with other product owners in the domain, customers, other stakeholders and of course the development manager and the team.

To succeed, you must take a customer-centric, holistic and outside-in view, while engaging with the many stakeholders.

Primary task and responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for the product leadership and proactive stakeholder engagement, to ensure that objectives and tasks reflect business value and are prioritized accordingly thus enabling the team to deliver value.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain close customer collaboration
  • Define stories in cooperation with the team and prioritize backlog
  • Engage in stakeholders, follow-up, report and align with strategic prioritized initiatives
  • Refine and prioritize features/stories in the product backlog to achieve stakeholders' goals and ensure BEC priorities in the best possible way
  • Assist the team with business clarifications and requirements regarding audit, security, risk and compliance
  • Develop and maintain documentation of bank processes relevant for the team
  • Take part in conducting epic refinement, build business-cases and secure funding for larger initiatives
  • Participate in overall vision and strategy for products in the domain
  • Assist in building and prioritize the domain backlog
  • Act as voice-of-the-customer in the domain
  • Responsible for building, maintaining and aligning 5-quarter roadmaps, given the BEC strategy and target architecture
  • Responsible for the team financials for development and maintenance tasks

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

  • A bachelor or a master’s degree or similar education in relevant area
  • Experience within the financial sector or a datacenter/software company
  • The ability to translate high level demands into agile features
  • A good economical overview
  • Certification as SAFe Product Owner or the desire to obtain it when you are onboarded
  • Being able to translate strategy into concrete actions and behavior
  • A background from banking / credit risk is an advantage, but not a requirement

With colleagues in teams located in both Denmark and Poland, you must master English and Danish at a high level both in writing and verbally.
