As one of three Product Owners in SVM, you play a crucial role in setting the tone for SVM’s overall technical development. You work in a matrix position between sales, product development and engineering and will be the technical expert for customers as well as internally within specific products. You are involved in the complete life cycle of a product from scoping to ongoing improvement. Your main tasks include:
Formally, you will be referring to the Engineering Manager, but you will be physically seated within the Sales and Product-department alongside a team of sales-, product- and application specialists.

To be successful in the role of Product Owner, you must be passionate about technology. You come across as an analytical and creative problem-solver and your experience in combination with a customer- and market centric mindset makes you a sound decision maker. The ability to communicate accurately, appropriately and adequately with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally, is key in this role. You are also able to explain highly complex, technological matters in an easily understandable manner that makes people want to follow. As one of three Product Owners in SVM, you play a crucial role in setting the tone for SVM’s overall technical development. You work in a matrix position between sales, product development and engineering and will be the technical expert for customers as well as internally within specific products. You are involved in the complete life cycle of a product from scoping to ongoing improvement. Your main tasks include:
- Developing the overall, technical solutions for each individual tender project. In doing so, you utilize, develop and maintain SVM’s product portfolio and ensures that the solution matches the customer’s specifications
- Leading the technical development and specification of products for the product catalog in close collaboration with the Product Manager and Engineering. This includes collecting and maintaining information and documents related to each, single module incl. Implementation Guide; engineering elements; design documentation; test documentation and price book
- Leading the price estimation and participating as the technical expert in customer meetings
- Handing over the technical product solution to the engineering team and supporting it through the design and development process as technical expert, sparring partner and trouble shooter

- An educational background as mechanical engineer, automation engineer or similar
- 10+ years of experience from machine design/development/R&D
- Insights into the development of automation solutions
