Become a part of our Portfolio Management team in the Water Division
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a new Commercial Product Manager to join our Water Division.
With direct reference to our Head of Portfolio Management, you will become a part of a growing team consisting five Commercial Product Managers. Together we are dedicated to globally develop and maintain Kamstrup’s future water product portfolio. We collect and identify customer needs in our key markets in the surrounding environment of utilities and utilizes this knowledge in the product and solutions strategy development and implementation.
A job with commercial responsibility for our product program
As Commercial Product Manager you will get the commercial responsibility for the residential meter program which have the potential of becoming one of Kamstrup’s largest measured on revenue. By owning the business strategy behind a product, you will specify the customer needs, functional requirements and generally manage both the launch and the phase out of products in the relevant markets. This will be done in close collaboration with customers, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and your colleagues in the Water Division.
More specific you will be responsible for:

Personality matters
We are looking for a Commercial Product Manager who is able to take leadership in your field. You are able to balance scoping and launching activities with portfolio and lifecycle management activities. As a person, you are outgoing by nature why it comes naturally to communicate clearly and build meaningful and positive relations to customers and stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. Furthermore, you consider yourself a world class presenter who is willing to go the extra mile to achieve ambitious goals.
You hold a degree, in business administration or engineering and have at least 5 years’ of professional experience from a similar position in a technology driven company. If you have experience from the water industry it will be seen as an advantage.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.

- Commercializing of water meter products in our focus markets
- Building robust global business cases with the right pricing, costing and target setting
- Driving the launch of new products with clear positioning and securing pre sales, customer cases and sales training
- Developing and maintaining our residential water meter product portfolio, including building and maintaining product and solution roadmaps
- Defining product features to meet customer and market needs and requirements
