Become a part of the Product Management team in Kamstrup
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our solutions and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a new Commercial Product Manager to join our Product Management team in our electricity division.

With a direct reference to our Head of Product Management, Electricity Solutions and Services, you will become a part of the Product Management team who manage the system solutions for the electricity sector. The team consists of 12 experienced and talented colleagues, who everyday works on developing and delivering intelligent metering solutions to our markets.

Commercial Product Manager with a focus on communication
In the job as Commercial Product Manager you must act as the liaise between our products and the sales organization, which requires customer insights and a solid understanding of their needs and reality. With this knowledge you must work towards value based information and communication and hereby ensure updated knowledge about our solutions in Kamstrup’s markets.

Your primary work and areas of responsibility, in collaboration with your teamlead, will be to:

  • Strengthen the commercial expression of the business area
  • Participate in the launch of products and solutions
  • Drive projects and initiatives in order to improve the communication with our stakeholders
  • Create technical documentation
  • Drive platforms for e.g. training and communication that can strengthen our collaboration-culture
  • Collaborate with marketing in regards to marketing and branding and our products

In order to succeed in the job it is important that you use your personal competencies to strengthen the relations to our internal stakeholders in particular. You will gain deep insights into the marked and our customers in order to understand the needs and tasks. In the job you will have a broad contact surface internally as well as externally.

In connection to the job, you can expect 15 travel days a year.

Personality matters
We are looking for a skilled, ambitious and outgoing person with a great personal drive. You are energetic and manage to pierce through the organization. Towards stakeholders you have a great influence as you understand the importance of listening and creating value for them. You are a great facilitator who manage to communicate with different target groups – also in an international setting.

You are practically minded and great at thinking in systems and understand who intelligent solutions can create value in the different parts of the customers’ value chains. Moreover, you have an eye for seeing new possibilities and challenge the way things are handled today. You understand how advanced IT-solutions are created and implemented as well as how effective data processing can be applied to process valuable data to our customers.

You have a professional background within communication, international business, business development or similar at minimum bachelor’s level. You have through your studies or former jobs worked up a technical insight and a solid commercial understanding. Therefore, you manage to understand technology and digitalization and convert this into commercial solutions. If you have experience within sales, consulting or business development within the electricity industry it will be considered an advantage but not a demand.

It is a requirement that you master English and Danish on a high level – both orally and written.
