All the time, we increase our focus on innovative software solutions for the water utilities and we thus search for a Product Specialist for our Water Intelligence software products in our Product Management team.
With direct reference to our Team Lead, you become part of our Technical Product Management team of 10 experienced and competent colleagues, including product specialists with the technical ownership of hardware, software and service solutions. Your primary business partners are the commercial product manager and the software developers of the Water Intelligence portfolio as well as our entire sales and Solution & Service Delivery organisation, which must be trained and kept updated of the latest releases. It is your foremost task, jointly to create and maintain solutions that meet the customer and market requirements and, in the end, create the value requested.
A job with focus on customer-oriented software solutions
In the position as Product Specialist, one of your main tasks will be to convert customer requirements into software specifications and service offers together with the commercial product manager. Subsequently, it is your task to be the contact person for the software developers and to make sure that new functionalities in Water Intelligence and related services correspond to the customer requirements and the value creation that were specified for the respective customer segments.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
You will expectedly have around 15-20 travelling days a year.
Personality matters
You have a technical background as an Engineer, Global Business Engineer with focus on Information & Communication Technology (ICT) or similar. Whether you have a few years of experience or is newly graduated is not crucial, the most important thing is that you have the desire, a strong technical skillset and have the interest in working with specification, development and implementation of customer-applied software solutions.
As a person, you are structured and can acquaint yourself thoroughly with the costumer's issues. You can convert these to technical and digital requirements that create value for the customer. In addition, you are impactful and can at any time challenge the way that things are done if you see a better way. Furthermore, it is important that you are proactive, lead the way and take care of issues that may occur in a busy workday.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.

- Building up a strong customer and application understanding
- Technical advisor to water utilities so that they get the most value of a Water Intelligence solution
- Provide input to software roadmaps and execution of roadmaps
- Planning and holding webinars for our 1st and 2nd level supporters
- Building and maintaining the technical documentation package in cooperation with technical assistants
- Participating in sales training of Kamstrup salespeople and sales partners from all over the world
