Sourcing is part of Kamstrup’s Supply Chain organization and reporting to our Vice President, Sourcing. You will become part of a small, skilled, and ambitious team covering Kamstrup’s supplier quality and compliance management and be an integral part of the complete Sourcing team.
Responsibility and tasks
As our new Supplier Quality & Compliance Manager you will become the driving force in proactively ensuring quality and compliance in our supplier base, both regarding existing and new suppliers. This includes ensuring that the suppliers have the needed capabilities and certifications. Your main focus will be on suppliers and related items and services within the mechanical components category (e.g. metal and plastics components). You have a global responsibility of the related supplier base, and you work closely together with regional Supplier Compliance Managers regarding quality management of suppliers in the regions.
In this specialist position you will have the following main responsibilities:
In addition, you will engage in a cross-functional collaboration with e.g. Group Quality and Sustainability, Operational Quality, Technology and Manufacturing.
In the job, you can expect 40-50 travel days per year.
Personality matters
We are looking for a proactive, persistent, and structured Supplier Quality & Compliance Manager. You can contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup through a data driven approach and a good understanding of cultural aspects and differences. You have good interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relations and collaboration internally and externally. You are motivated by engaging with suppliers both on-site as well as online. You are a team player and at the same time being good at working independently and navigating through change.
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience within supplier quality and development, and insight into relevant ISO standards, IAFT 16949 and IPC Standards. You have an academic background preferable focused on engineering or quality aspects. You have experience from an international setting and a good understanding of product and process requirements (in design documentation). It is preferable that you have an Auditor education (Auditor/Lead Auditor ISO9001 certificate).
It is a requirement that you speak and write English and Danish fluently.

- Assessing and qualifying new suppliers
- Supplier Due Diligence, incl. sustainability
- Validation of suppliers’ production process and auditing of suppliers
- Establish quality agreements with suppliers in cooperation with Sourcing Managers and Operational Quality
- Manage escalated supplier claims/non-conformances
- Monitor and follow-up on supplier quality performance and development
- Engage in risk management related to suppliers
- Engage in Category Management work
- Continuous improvements of quality management processes and procedures
