Therefore, we are looking for a Product Owner for our Technology Software function.
With direct reference to the Team Lead, you will become an integral part of the Delivery team, which consists of around 20 colleagues. However, you will also become part of our Technology function, which counts more than 150 professionals, ranging from Developers, UX, Testers, Software Architects, Project Leads, and SCRUM Masters who are located in our offices in Stilling, Denmark and Málaga, Spain. Together the team is responsible for effective execution of roadmaps, to ensure maximum value to our customers. The project in focus for this position is to provide actionable insights through a new online platform to our utility customers.
A job with focus on ensuring maximum customer value
As our new Product Owner, you will enter a highly collaborative role and the responsibility for ensuring buy-ins from different stakeholders in the organization such as Product Management, UX, R&D, Operations, Sales, and our direct customers, in order for us to deliver the best solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for prioritizing the improvements suggested by the Software and Solution Architects.
More specifically, your tasks will be to:
In this position you can expect approximately 10-15 travel days a year, where you will be visiting your colleagues in Málaga, as well as customers in Denmark.
Personality matters
To excel in this position, we imagine that you have a relevant engineering background, for example as a Global Business Engineer or experience within Software Development, as a minimum at bachelor level. In addition, it is a requirement that you have:
Experience from working within or with the Utility industry is considered an advantage but not a requirement.
As a person you possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relations internally as well as externally. You can manage and deal with ambiguity and have a structured and transparent approach to solving your tasks. Your strong drive and your ability to make plans and execute them, combined with your sense of pride in your work, ensures that your deadlines are met, and that the quality of your work remains highly effective and efficient. You are naturally motivated by working in a fast-moving environment where priorities change but the requirement to deliver results remains a constant.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and orally.

- Align the top-level roadmap with Commercial Product Management
- Establish solid requirements based on customer insight to set clear targets for the delivery team
- Breakdown roadmap items into quality product backlog items and set the top-level sprint prioritization
- Oversee quality dashboard and prioritize preventive actions in collaboration with Software Architects
- Manage feature request and unforeseen incidents and bugs
- Contribute to the development of processes and practices that leads towards agile development

- 2+ years of experience in role as Product Owner within an R&D organization
- Experience working with software development processes such as SCRUM and CI/CD
- Experience working with Backend Developers, UX, and Architects
