Supplier Quality Manager - Global Quality

You are KEY in ensuring high quality in supplier deliveries
In your new job you will be a part of the Supplier Quality Manager team located in Demant’s headquarter just outside of Copenhagen. You and your SQM colleagues ensure, Demant’s suppliers deliver according to specification and meet the quality requirements. The SQM team is part of the Quality organization consisting of about 200 employees globally.
You will work with suppliers worldwide ensuring high supplier quality. You will do so by participating in supplier approvals, qualification of new supplier components and by facilitating reliability tests at suppliers and conducting supplier audits.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for the supplier quality in the areas of new microphones, receivers, speaker units and tele coils for development projects.

Taking on the role, you will be a part of a dynamic working environment, working closely together with our Quality, HW R&D and Purchase teams to get the best and reliable Hearing Aid products and accessories to the market. In this way, your work is an important contribution to secure our high product quality and new technology development in Demant.
Daily, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Supplier Quality Management who also has the managerial responsibility. Below you will find some of the most relevant tasks of the job.
Take on the following tasks
- Be responsible for supplier quality on new microphones, receivers, speaker units and tele coils for development projects
- Participate in approving new suppliers and maintaining supplier approvals (i.e. get Quality agreements signed, request QMS certificates and conduct QMS audits)
- Conduct supplier Quality System audits and Process audits according to ISO9001 and ISO13485
- Create reliability specifications and ensure suppliers test accordingly
- Manage your deliveries for development projects in timely manner
- Create transparency on supplier quality to relevant stakeholders by delivering clear status
- Handle supplier quality issues by taking appropriate actions towards supplier, e.g. root cause analysis and verification of corrective action
- Stakeholder management: Suppliers, Quality, Purchase department, various technical departments, our production
Furthermore, you can expect around 30-40 days per year of traveling conducting supplier audits.
Good experience in supplier quality management
We expect you to have at a minimum a BSc degree within engineering plus experience with several of the above listed tasks.
Having a good quality mindset is essential. This you combine with knowledge, and experience within quality assurance and regulated standards. You have several years of working with suppliers and have conducted suppliers’ audits. If you have a lead auditor certificate and worked in the medical device industry it is a plus. If not, we will give you the training needed.
When it comes to personality, you are self-driven and combine this trait with excellent coordination and collaboration skills. Moreover, you thrive navigating in a larger international organizational setup with many stakeholders. Your colleagues show confidence in you because you possess a high personal integrity and ample people skills.
