About the department
In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to market approval, as well as life cycle management. We work in global cross-functional project teams with clear roles and shared goals with a focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients.
In Trial Operations, GLP-1, CV & Outcomes, we are responsible for the planning, execution and finalisation of global clinical trial activities in phase 2-4, including large scale outcomes trials with more than 17.000 subjects.

The position
You will be driving the progress of the trial activities in collaboration with your trial management colleagues. You will be part of a trial team of Trial Project Managers, Trial Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators. As Trial Manager, you will be responsible for timely planning, execution and finalisation of clinical outcomes trials in an ever-changing environment.
Trial Management oversees the global coordination of trial deliverables and you will be working together with our Trial Managers in 17 Clinical Development Centers around the globe, representing more than 40 countries. It is therefore expected, that you are a strong communicator and that you are able to build global collaboration. Through clear communication and team work you will - together with key stakeholders organised in a Trial Squad - ensure the delivery of trial activities.
Working as a Trial Manager at Novo Nordisk headquarters is a unique chance to join the Trial Operations community consisting of approximately 200 trial managers. This makes plenty of room for learning, sparring and developing both personally and professionally. The workplace is our office buildings in Søborg, Denmark.
Limited travel activity can be expected.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Health Care or equivalent. You can balance quality with a drive to meet ambitious deadlines and get things done. You work in a structured manner, you keep focus in busy periods and can handle many tasks simultaneously. Experience in trial management or working with clinical trials is an advantage.
As Trial Manager you will be having multiple stakeholders, hence team spirit, cross-cultural awareness and the ability to motivate others in a positive and challenging working climate are important assets. Good presentation, communication and IT and data process knowledge is expected.
Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
