About the Clinical Trial Operation
The clinical trial operation activities are anchored in our R&D organisation under Global Development. We offer a challenging position where you will be a key player setting up global clinical trials, thereby ensuring the high-quality data and scientific documentation required by health authorities.
In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to market approval, as well as life cycle management. We work in global cross-functional project teams with clear roles and shared goals with a focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients.
As a Trial Manager, you may be working on trials ranging from small haemophilia projects to large cardiovascular outcome projects with thousands of subjects. Sharing your ideas with an international team and getting feedback from your peers, you'll enjoy continued professional development throughout your career with us.
The position
You will be driving the progress of various trial activities in collaboration with your trial management colleagues. You will be working closely with other Trial Managers, Trial Project Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators. As Trial Manager, you will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure execution and finalisation of clinical trials in an ever-changing environment.
Trial Operations oversees the global coordination of trial deliverables and you will be working together with our Trial Managers in 17 Clinical Development Centres around the globe, representing more than 40 countries. It is expected that you are a strong communicator and is able to build global collaboration. Through clear communication and team work you will together with key stakeholders ensure the delivery of trial activities.
Working as a Trial Manager at Novo Nordisk headquarters is a unique chance to join the Trial Operations community consisting of approximately 200 trial managers. This makes plenty of room for learning, sparring and developing both personally and professionally. The workplace is our office buildings in Søborg, Denmark. Limited travel activity can be expected.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Health Care or equivalent. You can balance quality with a drive to meet ambitious deadlines and get things done. You work in a structured manner, you keep focus in busy periods and can handle many tasks simultaneously.
You are a dedicated team player with a high degree of flexibility and change preparedness that inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. Good presentation and communication skills as well as IT and data process knowledge are expected. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
