About the job
Oceaneering is a subcontractor to a large operator in the oil and gas industry – operating from Esbjerg, Denmark – and your job will be to provide Risk, Reliability and Maintenance (RRM) Engineering support in accordance with governing documents, quality and norms.
You will help develop maintenance routines, philosophies and strategies for onshore and offshore installation and manage activities in client Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
The roles are for a fixed term period starting August 2020 until May 2021. The term can possibly be prolonged.

You will help develop maintenance routines, philosophies and strategies for onshore and offshore installation and manage activities in client Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Potential duties & responsibilities
- Assist with implementation of specific maintenance concepts, programs, and strategies for onshore and offshore oil and gas installations but not limited to, under direct guidance of more senior engineers and technical leads in projects.
- Assist with effective input and management of data within CMMS database
- Assist with spare part evaluation and CMMS optimization
- Support the preparation of data for input into reviews/and (or) client presentations and meetings
- Operate Computerized Maintenance Management Systems as directed and maintain client data
- Retrieve project specific technical data from client library/documentation
- Assist the Line Manager to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deliverables and overall management of the service
- Support the Line Manager in management of Oceaneering contract providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management
- Simple planning and resource management of individual projects and commitments

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.

- Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
- Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
- Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Technical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
The ideal candidates will fulfill most or several of the following list:
- Minimum 2 years of specific experience related to the job description, specifically maintenance engineering and risk and reliability
- Experience with BOM creation
- Preferably knowledge about Materials and Equipment in SAP would be ideal
- Experience in handling large amounts of data in Excel and Access
- Experience with spare part lists and technical documentation in general
- Experience with Stock level optimization (preferably from a technical, not financial point of view)
- Preferably basic knowledge of the NORSOK Z-008 standard and the closed feedback loop within maintenance management.
- Familiarity with QA/QC systems/procedures and CMMS Systems
- Introductory level in in the use of engineering drawings and manuals, in general and to some extent related to maintenance analysis.
- Fluently in English and preferably in one of the Scandinavian languages. Desirable with fluent capabilities in a language used in a major oil-producing region.

- Intermediate to high level of social perception, cognition and awareness.
- Ability to generate a team approach to problem solving and a good communicator, both written and verbal.
- Ability to generate a team approach to workflow execution and problem solving.
- Good client and contractor relationship skills at various levels of seniority or diverse cultures.
- Good communicator in written, verbal and technical to make complex terminology simple for the benefit of others.
