The Big Picture:
In Howden, we are growing and developing our organization and we are therefore looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Næstved.
As Quality Engineer at Howden, you will be part of a team of highly competent quality colleagues who all play an important role in ensuring our QA processes and methods are followed.
Main purpose of the role will be to drive quality management by providing our customers with QA plans, QA dossiers and on-site inspections. You will be assigned a portfolio of projects and will have full responsibility for managing all aspects of QA/QC for these.

As Quality Engineer at Howden, you will be part of a team of highly competent quality colleagues who all play an important role in ensuring our QA processes and methods are followed.
Main purpose of the role will be to drive quality management by providing our customers with QA plans, QA dossiers and on-site inspections. You will be assigned a portfolio of projects and will have full responsibility for managing all aspects of QA/QC for these.
What needs to be done?
- Inspect product quality and record the results according to drawings and requirements
- Check and approve quality documents from suppliers
- Create, maintain and improve quality plans and quality dossiers linked to projects
- Internal and external audits
- Maintain quality procedures to ensure compliance with relevant national and international standards
- Witness points on-site
- Travel activity should be expected
What do you need to bring?
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience with quality assurance/control or mechanical engineering from a project driven environment
- Used to read and work with drawings/specifications
- Sound understanding of quality plans, auditing and compilation of quality dossiers
- Experience with visual inspection on-site
- Experience in working with ISO standards
- Cultural awareness and ability to work with international customers at all levels
- Ability to multi-task and priorities your own work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Strong inter-personal skills and a team player
- Advanced user of MS Office
