Can you make balanced judgements and find opportunities in collaboration with our R&D engineers to ensure quality across our development projects? Maersk Container Industry is looking for an analytical Quality Engineer with a proven track record to ensure world class quality. You will take on the accountability to ensure quality across R&D projects.

MCI is located in Tinglev in Southern Denmark. You will be in close proximity to cities like Sønderborg, Kolding and Flensborg. We are present locally but act globally. At MCI Tinglev we have an informal tone amongst ourselves. We work hard, we are aware of our contribution to global trade, and we still have a lot of fun.
Key responsibilities
You will take on the accountability to ensure quality across R&D projects.
Some of your tasks will include:
• Challenging and supporting project manager in qualification
and approval tests (APQP)
• Coordinating approval of new suppliers and new parts in
collaboration with procurement
• Coordinating quality actions agreed with suppliers in projects
• Facilitating and driving D-FMEA’s
• Investigating and integrating previous lessons learned from
customer claims.
• Represent the quality function at PAB (Project Advisory Board)
• Ensure that the Stage Gate process is followed
We are looking for
The ideal candidate has a background as B.SC or M.SC in mechanical- electrical- or electronic engineering, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a proven track record in a similar role in quality assurance within product development.
• In-depth knowledge of FMEA processes, APQP, and stage gate project models.
• Experience with applied Six Sigma
• Methodical, analytical and structured approach
To succeed in the role, it is important to have strong communication and collaboration skills. A good sense of detail and ability to follow-up
