Randstad is looking for an ambitious Supplier Quality Engineer on behalf of our client, Nobia A/S in Ølgod. Are you ready to improve their supplier quality and take responsibility for developing their SQ processes and procedures? Maybe this job could match you!
You will join the SQ team, which is a part of Nobia’s Sourcing team. Your primary field of work will be supporting the Sourcing and Product Management in quality related issues. You will be at the head of continuously development and improvements of Nobia’s suppliers and have the responsibility that they meet their requirements in Nobia Group.
You will go through an onboarding program in Nobia, where you will be trained in their systems, guidelines, processes and get the Nobia DNA.
• Proactively support the business needs in respect to Supplier/Product Quality conformance to established and developing specifications, standards and guidelines.
• Support the SAF/ NSAR process, ensuring it is continually developed and remains appropriate as the controlling process which approves Nobia Suppliers. Secure that Nobia Suppliers are capable of complying with Nobia´s Quality, Environmental, Sustainability, H&S and CSR requirements.
• Work proactively with Suppliers to develop a culture of Continuous Improvement in processes and product which assures the quality of supplier material and products.
• Coordinate the Non-Conforming Product (NCP) process by initiating and interacting with Suppliers to investigate the root cause of Product Failure. Implementing the necessary corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Support continued development of the NCP process.
• Participate when required with Sourcing team in Supplier Performance Reviews.
• Support the process of Pre Delivery Inspections (PDI) on New Product Development and Resourcing activities.
• Support Sourcing & Product Management to develop proposals which Value Engineers product without compromising customer requirements and standards. Proactively interact with Suppliers and Buyers to reduce cost or increase value of product and processes.
• Engineering education background in production or a similar relevant education.
• 3 years of experience from a similar position or have Supplier Assessment or Lead Auditing experience.
• High level of understanding of appropriate material standards, regulations and legislation.
• High flexibility in all aspects with a willingness to travel up to 80 days, primarily in Scandinavian/Europe.
• Fluent in English both written and oral.
Furthermore, it is important that you are confident, clear and concise communicator at all levels. These factors are central, because you will have many various contacts both intern and extern. You are also highly intuitive and have the ability to work independently. For example, you need to take responsibility and stand by your decisions.

About the job
