PRODUCT DEVELOPER/SCIENTIST IN NICOTINE CONTAINING PRODUCTS

About the job – Product development

Nicotine containing products are products which have gained significant success as a cigarette substitution product. To succeed in the ambitious mission, we are therefore strengthening our group of product developers within that segment.

The R&D-NCP group plays an important role in Fertin Pharma’s overall strategy in bringing new nicotine containing products to the global market at the right time, quality and cost. The R&D-NCP group consists of nine highly skilled product developers and application technicians, and the group is expected to grow significantly.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for product development of oral products with nicotine focusing on pleasant and robust formulations with optimal processability
  • You enjoy practicing ’hands-on’ development in close collaboration with application technicians in both laboratory and full-scale
  • You will contribute to establishing robust manufacturing processes to meet the agreed commercial targets for the new products before handing over to Supply Chain.
  • You take part in optimization and scale-up projects
  • Together with the project team, you communicate with customers, suppliers, internal and external experts
  • You contribute to document the development process to meet regulatory requirements.

There is flexibility for hybrid working.

Experience & competencies:

  • You have a master’s degree in food science, pharmacy, chemistry or a similar technical/academic background
  • You have experience with product and process development, up-scaling and enjoy working with product technologists
  • Preferably you have experience with powder technology and chemistry.
  • You are ambitious, proactive, systematic and can establish and discuss a scientific approach including risks and benefits for issues during product development.
  • You have good collaboration skills and can handle collaboration with many stakeholders
  • You have good communications skills and are fluent in Danish and English
  • You are curious by nature and excited by innovation and developing new formulations
