About the job

As Senior Project Manager, you are the key point of contact for the customers. This includes being responsible for meeting project deliverables and budgets on time while managing stakeholders throughout the process as well as aligning expectations with customers and handling post-sale negotiations during the projects.

The typical Configit customer is an international enterprise production company within the automotive or industrial machinery & components industries. The solutions target and connect product development, engineering, and sales throughout the product lifecycle – and you will therefore be working with a variety of professionals on different levels in their organization.

Your responsibilities

• Create clear and well-defined statements of work and project plans
• Execute projects according to agreed scope, budget, and schedule
• Manage risks and stakeholders (internal as well as external)
• Track progress and financial status
• Report to external and internal stakeholders
• Forecast effort and revenue on your projects
• Get customer acceptance and hand the solution over to support
• Coordinate with accounting on invoicing and revenue recognition
• Lead, inspire and motivate the team

We expect that you have

• 5+ years of documented project management experience delivering software projects to external corporations
• A relevant degree in Software Development, Engineering, IT or Business
• A Solid background from a software vendor, managing projects within complex software products/solutions

And you possess

• Strong business acumen
• A strong customer-oriented approach to project management
• Skills to build relationships with customers and influence decision-makers at top level
• Experience with Software Lifecycle Management and Agile methods
• Drive to deliver
• Full proficiency in English
