Are you an experienced process engineer with expertise in electrolysers, chemical processes, or pyrolysis? Would you like to utilize your skills in the world's largest PtX project recently won by COWI? and other projects such as the Green Fuels for Denmark 1.3 GW plant, the 3 GW VindØ or the Høst PtX plant? Our department embraces a very solid position in the market, we are trusted advisors to key decisionmakers within the Danish energy sector. As our new Lead Process Engineer, your work can directly impact and shape the direction of Denmark's green energy transition. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to be a part process-collaboration with our Nordic colleagues, but also large-scale international projects. You can expect approximately 10-20 travel days a year.

To enjoy the position as Lead Process Engineer, you thrive in delegating and supervising tasks within mass and energy balances, process flow diagrams and P&IDs. You will also contribute to continuously enhancing our process design, knowledge, and capabilities. In addition to this you should be motivated by being responsible for process design and optimisation. You have a high degree of initiative and bring a structured and committed approach to your work. You are flexible and open-minded, possess a good sense of humour and enjoy the social work environment. There will be amble opportunity for doing business development if you have a desire for this. Your English language proficiency is great, and you are comfortable with composing complex technical reports and documentation.

- Feasibility (CAPEX, OPEX), concept, and FEED studies.
- Plan, design, construction, and integration of Power-to-X solutions.
- Guiding and supervising colleagues in process diagrams, calculations, P&IDs, and system designs.
- Safety assessment (HAZID/HAZOP).
- Carbon capture and storage projects.

- Preferably a M.Sc. in Engineering (Energy/Process/Chemistry), we would be thrilled if you have Ph.D.
- Ideally you have experience in electrolysers or Power-to-X technologies or oil- and gas industry.
- 12 years of experience as process engineer.
- Experience in Pro/II, Aspen Hysys or similar software is favourable, but not a requirement.
In addition to this, it would make us very excited if you had in-dept experience with the topics below:
- Chemical engineering and processing.
- Chemical synthesis plants (hydrogen, methanol and ammonia).
- Pyrolysis, hydrothermal liquefaction, or similar processes.
- Refinery operations.
- Energy systems.
