Senior Project Manager

Could you see yourself being engaged in driving large production process improvement projects in a market-leading pharmaceutical company?

As Senior Project Manager at ALK, you will lead large strategic projects like implementing a new aseptic production line, introducing a new filtration step, automated cleaning of production tanks and other projects that will define the future of ALK. You will have great impact on how the processes will meet future regulatory demands. You will be responsible for project teams qualifying the production to future standards within Drug Substance and Drug Product processes.

Moreover, you will secure organizational attention and management priority and engagement in your projects, and you will collaborate with colleagues from our CMC area, our productions in Product Supply Site Hørsholm, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Global Procurement, Global Supply Chain Management and Product & Business Support.

With direct report to Director, Product & Business Support in Product Supply Site Hørsholm.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Upgrade ALK manufacturing processes and products within Drug Substance and Drug Product
• Strategic and operational support in relation to production and optimization
• Ensure new regulatory demands are implemented
• Collaboration with many different stakeholders from Operators to the Head of Production Site and ensure they meet the agreed standards and deadlines
• Provide reporting of progress and project economics to steering committee consisting of ALK top management

You have an Academic Degree in Natural Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or the like.

Your qualifications are several years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry within API/aseptic production. Ideally you have worked as a Chemist in a relevant pharmaceutical production, and you are an experienced project manager and are used to leading cross functional teams. Moreover, you have hands-on experience with Drug Substances and aseptic Drug Product processes. You are used to working with different stakeholders and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

You are fluent in Danish and English, orally and in writing.

You are a person who is proactive and with a high drive. You work independently but are also a passionate team player. You have a passion for working with people of different professional expertise. Moreover, you are structured and have a constructive approach including an ability to prioritize under high pressure.
