Process Specialist with CC experience

All of us are specialised in different areas, such as energy, chemical processes, carbon capture, electrical, piping, and mechanical. Our diverse expertise enables multidisciplinary collaboration in energy storage, green hydrogen, e-fuels, pyrolysis, or similar biomass conversion processes.

DO YOU HAVE A DEGREE IN ENGINEERING AND A DESIRE TO WORK WITH CARBON CAPTURE?

Our department embraces a very solid position in the market, we are trusted advisors to key decision makers within the Danish energy sector. As our new Process Specialist, your work can directly impact and shape the direction of Denmark's green energy transition. In addition to this you will have the opportunity collaborate with our Nordic colleagues, but also large-scale international projects. You can expect approximately 10-20 travel days a year.

You can look forward to an exciting workday which typically includes:

• Feasibility (CAPEX, OPEX), concept, and FEED studies.
• Process concept design.
• Plan, design, construction, and integration of Power-to-X solutions.
• Guiding and supervising colleagues in process diagrams, calculations, P&IDs, and system designs.
• Safety assessment (HAZID/HAZOP).
• Carbon capture and storage projects.

To enjoy the position as Process Specialist, you thrive seeking out knowledge, bringing it into play in projects, and cooperating with both colleagues and our clients across multiple disciplines to ensure sound environmental, technical, and economical solutions. The work may involve basic process design, developing mass & energy balances, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs, but also contributing to continuously enhancing our process design, knowledge, and capabilities. In addition to this you should be motivated by being responsible for process design and optimisation. You have a high degree of initiative and bring a structured and committed approach to your work. You are flexible and open-minded, possess a good sense of humour and enjoy a social and often informal work environment. There will be ample opportunity for doing business development if you have a desire for this. Your English language proficiency is great, and you are comfortable with composing complex technical reports and documentation.

It would be a joy for us to hear from candidates who resemble the following:

• A M.Sc. in Engineering (Energy/Process/Chemistry), we would be thrilled if you have Ph.D.
• Ideally you have experience within CC, CCS or CCUS. Alternatively, PtX technologies or the biogas industry.
• 5 years of experience in a role as process engineer.
• Experience in Aspen HYSYS, Pro/II or similar software is favourable.

In addition to this, it would make us very excited if you have in-dept experience with the topics below:

• Chemical synthesis plants (hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia).
• Pyrolysis, hydrothermal liquefaction, or similar processes.
• Refinery operations.
• Energy systems.
