Lead Process Engineer – Renewable Energy Solutions

the responsibility for the process technology solution
As a Lead Process Engineer you will have the general technical responsibility for the entire process deployment and design, which ensures the interaction between the sub-systems that form the components of a power plant. You will become part of a committed project team and will contribute to all the phases of the project. Your tasks will be varied and only on rare occasions, two days will feel the same. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of process resources on a project and provide interdisciplinary coordination with other engineering departments.
We are getting busy with new projects and are looking for more lead process engineers.
Your daily work will, among other things, include the following:
You will have a technical working sphere and a workday with many shifts across systems and professional boundaries. Your job will take place in a good atmosphere with close cooperation with good colleagues, who will contribute with sparring and specialist knowledge.
Solid technical competence, responsibility, and drive
You have a relevant education such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in process, mechanical, energy or chemical engineering and a good theoretical understanding of thermodynamics, process design, heat transmission and project development. In addition, you have knowledge about the components of large power plants. Your educational and theoretical background is complemented by relevant experience.
You are proactive, structured, and motivated to make a difference. You are good at communicating and constitute a good sparring partner for your colleagues in the organization. You enjoy your responsibility and drive our projects in the right direction. Finally, your finishing touch ensures that you keep an eye on the goal while being thorough in your work. You thrive in a position with many different disciplines.
You are part of a project from the very beginning through to commissioning. Part of the role is also to perform service checks on boilers and other equipment you have helped to develop. Therefore, you can also look forward to 30-40 travel days a year, primarily in Europe and Asia.
We have offices in Taastrup and Holsted in Denmark, but also opportunities to work from other European offices.

- Managing communication with project managers, the department manager, colleagues in the department and others.
- Reviewing and negotiating contract obligations prior to contract.
- Providing input to scheduling and managing it.
- Determining and managing the technical basis for projects, technology choices, thermal, guarantees, HMB’s, P&ID’s, and specification of interfaces.
- Coordinating and delegating the tasks of the Boiler-Process department and coordinating with the other engineering departments and the project manager.
- Participating in technical clarification meetings with customers and suppliers.
- Designing and controlling information in our database design system.
- Dimensioning, preparing technical specification and evaluating systems and components, such as boilers, cleaning systems, waste cranes, fans, air preheaters, heat exchangers, hydraulics, pumps, valves, SNCR, FGT, etc.
- Preparing functional and safety descriptions.
- Providing technical assistance during plant commissioning, regulation, and validation of guarantees.
- Handling government approvals, risk analyzes, HAZOP, SIL, and ATEX.
