Join us in our journey to define control standards and roll out standardized controls, both financial and operational, for Maersk's global operations in Ground Freight and E-Commerce. Driven by data and processes, we ensure visibility and transparency in our operations. As a Lead Process Engineer, you will work in a global setting, with stakeholders from various Maersk teams, driving alignment for operational excellence and customer value creation.

The team

Maersk E-commerce provides a set of services and solutions for our customers' E-commerce needs, including warehousing, transportation, last-mile delivery (parcel and heavy/bulky; courier), last-mile services (inside-the-house delivery, assembly, installations, etc.), International E-commerce (end-to-end), reverse logistics, re-commerce, E-commerce network solutions (inventory to delivery solutions), marketplace solutions (Shopify, JD.com, T-mall, Amazon.com and more), and multi-channel distribution.

As a Process Engineer with the Maersk E-commerce team you’ll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing processes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assess, understand, and map controls for current processes.
• Prioritize technical development aligned with control priorities.
• Develop valuation of impact of risks and controls.
• Define a roadmap for workflow transition to future state with risks and controls.
• Identify automation possibilities to assist with current and future processes and metrics.
• Partner with regional teams to establish new procedures.
• Drive closure of audit items and address risks.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you can offer:

Mandatory:

• Logistics experience/education, does not have to be in logistics company, supply chain consulting could work too
• Some sort of tech education/experience, especially about understanding of master data. You'll need to work with customer master data, supplier master data, geo master data, material master data at least
• Ability to structure and solve problem
• Project management experience
• Strong in relationship building

Preferred:

• Consulting experience, ideally supply chain area: E.g., Accenture Supply Chain practice, PwC Supply Chain Transformation, EY Supply Chain & Operations Consulting, Deloitte Supply Chain & Network Operations
• Parcel delivery/E-Commerce operations and/or customs experience in 3PL or significant online retailers, e.g., Pitney Bowes, SHEIN, Tiktok, Bytedance, Zalando, Boozt, etc
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally (Up to 10% of working time).
