We are looking for a Senior Project Manager & Team Lead directly reporting to the Regional Investment Manager. You will be responsible for driving investment projects in collaboration with the Plant of Aalborg Portland to reach the defined targets, by managing and monitoring the entire life cycle of investments and Long-Term Lease. By coordinating the internal and external Project Manager team, ensure the project's performance targets, the monthly planning, and the cost/time analysis you will have a high impact on our production area.
Our overall challenge is to execute an increasing portfolio of diverse projects in a complex and constantly growing area. We qualify, drive, and facilitate the execution and implementation of both small and large investment projects. In the team – and the department as a whole – we are proud of our balance between ambitious goals, working hard, and maintaining a fun approach to our tasks. You will be joining an effective, skillful, and inclusive team of 3 Project Managers.
Your main responsibilities will be:
As a person we expect that you are persistent, structured, factual, thorough, analytical, solution- and detail-oriented in all your deliverables. Further, it is important that you as a Team lead have a coaching approach towards your colleagues.
Minimum requirements
We expect that you have a master’s degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience from a manufacturing management/engineering company or experience working in a large-scale multi-national organization running the complete cycle of investment projects. You are a superuser in SAP and Excel. It is an advantage is you have experience with the industry of cement, ready mix concrete, or aggregates but not a requirement. We expect that you are fluent in English both oral and written.

- Manage local capex portfolio with transparent follow-up processes of all previous, ongoing, and future projects
- Objectively and fact-based analyze, identify, and describe project benefits and risks regarding Capex, cost, time, technical capability, and resources.
- Plan & drive frequent project meetings with sponsors/originators and Project Managers
- Act as a single point of contact for business unit related project investments
- Establish mutually beneficial cooperation with internal stakeholders in Aalborg Portland and cross-borders, by acting in cross-cultural environments
- Ensure the correct run of the Group Investment procedure at the Business Unit level
- Monitor the full project execution by coordinating the team of Project Managers
