We – Maersk Special Projects & Logistics - are now recruiting for a solid Freight Forwarder for our Government & Projects team. The position is located in Aarhus.
In the Special Projects Logistics team, you will be a part of a team of 35 experienced colleagues, where we strive to deliver the best service for our customers.
Together with your colleagues you will play a key role in designing tailor-made logistics solutions for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.
Your main responsibilities will, among others, be:
• Responsible for the End to End customer experience, handling the operation from a-z as well as procurement and upselling on a daily basis
• Project planning and execution, including on ground supervision
• Coordination of all modes of transport
• Customer service and upselling for exciting customers
Our ideal candidate is self-driven person with a can-do attitude, well organized as well as being able to stay cool in a hectic and complex environment. You strive in a collaborative role being the coordinator and making things happen. We value our unique team and are looking for someone who shares our vision of teamwork being the backbone of all we do.
The strong candidate has:
- Relevant experience from freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or similar. Experience from Air freight and/or project logistics is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in Danish & English
- A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
- Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team
- Ability to be flexible when needed as our job is not always 8-16
- Ability to travel approx. 5-10 days a year
