Are you looking to take your career to the next level? If so, we can offer you a position as an intern, where you will be part of our Global Legal team. We are currently offering four intern positions in the Global Legal department, which we are looking to fill with the most curious and driven students.
About the department
Global Legal is the legal headquarter function for Novo Nordisk with around 100 employees located in Bagsværd, Denmark. The department leads the global legal strategy and provides internal legal support to the organisation both vertically to Executive Management and horizontally to the rest of Novo Nordisk on a wide range of strategic and operational matters.
The position
The four internships will be hosted by three different teams in Global Legal. All four internships require you to bring a high level of drive, which you demonstrate by showing curiosity and being proactive to then drive as much impact as possible through the six months you will join the team. In return, we offer an internship where you will get daily sparring, interesting tasks and the opportunity to work with colleagues across various functions in Novo Nordisk, including Finance, Compliance and the commercial functions.
Previous interns have worked on a range of tasks, including i) developed an online training and communication platform and developed training materials for Global Legal, ii) analysed external spend, which lead to several initiatives, including running a request for proposal process with select vendors, and iii) created process descriptions of the global contract management process and developed contract management training materials.
- Internship period: 4-6 months
- Working hours: Full time (37 hours a week)
- Start date: 1 March 2020
- Internships are remunerated, if your university allows it
Qualifications
Most importantly, you are quick to learn, curious, and consider yourself someone who drives impact in what you do. Your field of study will not alone define whether you are qualified for the internships, so all interested candidates should consider applying. In the past, we have seen a good match with students who study a Master’s degree in Business or Finance. If you are studying law, IT, communication or another technical field combined with business or management, we would also like to receive your application. Experience from a consultancy or another large company is a plus. We expect you to master English, verbally as well as written. Danish language skills are not a requirement.
