Do you want to be crucial in removing bottlenecks and adding IT capabilities to ensure that Novo Nordisk can help many more patients? Can you ensure pace and drive maximum value within the allocated time- and money box?
Then, you might be our new Delivery Lead, where you will be responsible for managing and driving our strategic theme to implement IT architecture documentation and planning.
About the role
As our new Delivery Lead, you will join our IT Scalability Programme, where we implement the next generation of shared IT services and infrastructure required to enable Novo Nordisk's scaling. You will drive one of the themes – delivery of IT architecture documentation and planning.
You will facilitate the guiding and mentoring of architecture planning for business and the establishment of critical prerequisites in DD&IT for a faster response time to LoB architecture needs. In other words, you will have a vital role in Novo Nordisk's continued digital expansion.
You will work with the VP of Enterprise Architecture (owning the outcome) and the EA team in your new role. You will be responsible for the execution, structure, and organization of the day-to-day activities. Likewise, you will use your extensive architecture project management, planning, and implementation background to ensure theme progress, direction, and results. To achieve this, you must deploy your IT project management toolbox and successfully manage the theme to delivery.
More specifically, your responsibilities will revolve around the following areas:
• Mobilise, organize and execute the theme through sub-projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with the theme's objectives, where you will act in the balance between your solid technical and process-oriented insights.
• Form a day-to-day working model, using appropriate tools and techniques to successfully manage projects, focusing on maximizing outcomes while keeping deadlines and managing the theme's budget across sub-projects and initiatives.
• Be a driving force in outward organizational change management in a complex stakeholder landscape.
• Project manage the participants involved in this theme in the Scalability program, where you will resolve impediments, risks, and dependencies within the theme, ensuring high-performing team behavior.
You should balance technical and process insights with project management skills and effectively communicate, advise, and collaborate with stakeholders across organizational levels and functions to achieve increased architectural collaboration and responsiveness.
What are we looking for?
We imagine you have 4+ years of relevant IT project management experience (+20mDKK/yr) within a large and complex organization to succeed in the role.
Likewise, we believe that you will be able to tick the following boxes:
• Previous experience with implementing an enterprise architecture framework, preferably through project management.
• A curious mindset, strong drive, and the ability to bridge abstraction levels quickly.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills as you will guide and challenge your colleagues when needed, as well as interact with senior stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Effective communication abilities, as you must convey complex information clearly verbally and in writing.
• Experience with the SAFe framework and GxP, or another auditable environment, will be an added advantage.
Joining the IT Scalability Programme and ESDO
Novo Nordisk has high ambitions for growth and expansion. The IT Scalability Programme implements the next generation of shared IT services and infrastructure required to enable Novo Nordisk's scaling. Therefore, you will join a program with people setting the strategic agenda for Digital, Data, and IT (DD&IT) for those implementing the latest technology. The program is in the execution phase and is expected to last another two years. It is our largest initiative within DD&IT and is very transformational. You can expect the opportunity to impact our definition and enablement of our IT foundational capabilities. The position is permanent and will report directly to the Vice President of the IT Scalability Programme, Rasmus Anker, with a dotted line to the VP of Enterprise Architecture, Marielle van de Pol, as the theme owner.
