The position As a Scrum Master you will be part of an agile team that continuously develops and improves solutions for more than thousand colleagues in Novo Nordisk Finance. Due to great success of the products the team built over the past year the team is now expanding and due to the increasing complexity, we are looking for a Scrum Master who can Take responsibility for team delivery, including preparing and facilitating team events (e.g. daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospective, PI planning, etc.) Challenge the current ways of working and implement new ways of working that you deem applicable and more efficient Discuss and educate the team in Agile and SAFe ways of working Encourage others to share knowledge, learnings and collaborate within the team and with other teams in the Agile Release Train Keep track of and help solve impediments and escalate if necessary and facilitate cross-team collaboration and dependencies You should expect to be part of a highly engaged organisation where you can gain a very broad network within Novo Nordisk Finance and IT organisation. The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark. Qualifications To be considered for the position, we expect that you have: At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master with certification A bachelor’s or master’s degree Advanced experience with Agile tools e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe XP or DevOps Advanced experience working in an Agile team context As a person you are eager to learn and understand how to use different technologies and tools, you are proactive, process-oriented, and highly motivated to be part of projects that have high visibility in the organisation. You are a true team player who nurtures and challenges the team to become high-performing and enjoys working with both developers and line of business. You are an excellent communicator and facilitator of team dynamics who can handle conflicts, high level of uncertainty and can build trust. About the department The project organisation was established a bit more than a year ago with seven talented people in Denmark with the purpose of creating a single source of truth for finance that enables reporting, self-service and data science in the Global Finance organisation in Novo Nordisk. The agile team consists of developers anchored in IT (SAP, data engineers and BI developers), located in Denmark and now also in India, total of twelve people after the expansion, and as a Scrum Master you will be anchored in Finance in Data Strategy & Design to have a closer collaboration with the key finance stakeholders who raise requirements for future solutions on behalf of the more than thousand colleagues in Novo Nordisk Finance.
