The position As our new Project Manager, you will be part of a newly established Program Management Office (PMO), overseeing and managing projects within the program. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource plans. You will also be responsible for managing project risks, issues, and changes to ensure proper identification, assessment, and management. In addition to this, you will foster effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding and definition of project requirements. You will lead the project team by providing leadership, direction, and support as required. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of project tasks in collaboration with our Senior Project Managers in the program. The key responsibilities of this position include:
  • Monitoring project progress to ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of project documentation and production of project reports as required.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements, creating, updating, and maintaining presentations.
  • Adhering to project management best practices and standards, ensuring that projects are managed in accordance with Novo Nordisk standards and guidelines.
  • Managing stakeholder expertise to navigate different seniority levels within Novo Nordisk, from equipment owners and other project managers to senior management, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Furthermore, this is a great opportunity to be an integral part of the execution team, ensuring that we implement tangible and significant steps towards achieving zero environmental impact. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should:
  • Hold a master’s degree in engineering or related fields, with 3-5 years of proven experience in project management, and be able to demonstrate solid results in successfully delivering projects. It's an advantage if you have worked as a management consultant for a few years.
  • Have proven experience in managing projects, preferably within a Project Management Office environment.
  • Possess strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Have fluency in spoken and written English, with Danish language proficiency considered a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and team management skills, along with possessing leadership skills and experience in energy design, energy infrastructure, or utility installations, which are advantageous for motivating and inspiring teams to achieve project goals.
    • As an individual with a can-do attitude, you work systematically, logically, and proactively. You are self-driven, structured, robust, and capable of handling a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation. You showcase the ability to self-motivate and inspire your project team to achieve collective goals. Additionally, you possess great problem-solving skills with a structured and skilled approach to navigating high complexity. About the department In Corporate Facilities, with 250 employees, we enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for infrastructure, workplaces, utilities, and facility services as well as a major building portfolio.
